The Grazier System's

ACCESSORY MOUNTING POINTS

Permits the Grazier System to work on virtually any surface condition, from pure sand dunes to rocky, loose soils, or even mud & muck!

SPIKE POINTS

Effective for many difficult soils.

These double-spiked points give strength back to the Grazier System when soil conditions steal that strength away:  sandy loams, freshly disked fields, soils that have little root structure, pebbly mountainsides, rocky soils, or very wet and soft sods.

Shown here with a small mallet (one of the rare times when a tool might be necessary for installation), one of these three spike points is driven into the rocky soil, and the spike foot of the Grazier corner is then clipped into the hole in the top of the spike point and then driven into the soil as well, giving the corner three rather than one spike for strength.

SAND POINTS

Effective for pure sands.

Imagine a portable fence that stands strong on a sand dune!  The Grazier System works just as well on pure sand as it does on sod, when these unique sand points are first stepped down into the sand and the Grazier spike feet are then clipped into the holes on their tops.

Shown below is an actual installation on fine, dry oceanic sands, that type you can hardly walk in!

MUD POINTS

Effective for mud and muck.

These points are shortened versions of the sand points, and are for use in extremely soft, muddy and/or mucky situations where it would be difficult with only foot pressure to penetrate deeper than just a few inches.

Like the two options above, just push these points into the soil, and clip the feet of your Grazier corners into the holes on the tops of these accessory points.

Shown above are Corner Surface Mounts.  The picture below shows  both a Corner Surface Mount and  Line Post Surface Mount in use.

Here, the surface mounts for both the line posts and the corners are shown doing their job across a rocked driveway.

SURFACE MOUNTS

For a NO-PENETRATION Setting on extremely hard surfaces!

These surface brackets permit use of your Grazier corners and line posts even where you cannot penetrate the surface at all, such as rocked or paved driveways, concrete, plate rock shelves, even carpeted or tiled floors!

This is especially useful on small acreages when grazing next to driveways.  By being able to place portable paddock's two corners actually ON your driveway, your horses can graze every square inch of grass, losing NONE to a fence line!

CORNERS:  Simply clip the feet of your Grazier corner into the brackets, then apply any weighted item that may be available nearby to hold the bracket in place.  Such weight could be bricks, a heavy piece of steel, or even a bag of feed.  Or, if you prefer, you can buy attractive Grazier sand bags for this purpose.  These bags actually work best, because by the nature of the sand, the weight is placed both onto the bracket as well as settling firmly onto the surface, which reduces sliding in some situations.

LINE POSTS:  We have selected a plastic lumber base, which is heavier than wood, but light enough for convenience.  Use these bases whenever you cannot easily push a line post into the soil.  This can be useful in many rocky or drought-hardened situations.

These brackets, with the Grazier sand bags, are also the perfect choice for using the Grazier System to set up a round pen on a shallow-sand arena, where the sand is too shallow for sand points, and too weak for normal installation.
