Oversized and Standard Winch Corners

4-Strand No-Ground Winch Corners

Shown above are both the Standard (right) and Oversized (left) Winch Corners.  

The Standard reel, the foundation of most Grazier kits, carries 300' of ElectroBraid, or 150 linear feet of a 2-strand fence.  The Oversized reel carries 600' of ElectroBraid, or 300 linear feet of a 2-strand fence.

Either can be loaded with any other pliable material for a variety of purposes and in varying lengths.  For cattle applications, up to half a mile of polywire may be used.  For crowd control (such as football fields or construction barriers) or automobile control (pasture parking lots), a brightly colored, non-electric rope is used.

This dual-reel system permits 4-strand fences, either four or six-foot in height.  Two lines are contained on each reel, preventing unwieldy tangling.

The setup shown above, a 4-strand 6-foot system, makes up our "Buffalo Kit," useful for containing jumping animals such as buffalo, mules or mustangs.

Additionally, the two reels shown here are electrically isolated one from the other.  This permits a no-ground electric fence, with wires 1 & 3 being positive, and 2 & 4 negative.  Such is useful and necessary on extremely dry soil conditions, such as on dry sand or rock.  In such setups, the positive/negative wire pairs should be set closer to each other than shown here, to better allow for an animal coming into contact with two wires to receive a shock.
